Police and Firemen's Insurance has awarded scholarships since 1987, totaling over $13,149,500.00, to children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren of Police Officers, Firefighters, and Correctional Officers across the United States.The Scholarships are $1,500 per year for up to four years of undergraduate study. The Orphaned Children of Police and Firemen's Insurance Association are eligible to receive up to $48,000 each in fraternal income benefits, plus $4,000 per year in fraternal scholarship benefits for four years of undergraduate study. Learn more
Provides $5,000 in fraternal insurance protection for children of members from their eighth through their 59th day of life, plus guarantees the insurability of the children for $10,000 at the 60th day of life. Learn more
This benefit grants an automatically issued, premium paying (at standard rates) Select Whole Life policy in the amount of $10,000 to an uninsurable child, age 0 through 23, of a member in good standing with the Association. Learn more
Up to $2,500 in rewards will be paid to persons providing information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the death or permanent disability of a Police and Firemen's Insurance Association Member.
Police and Firemen’s Insurance Association will contribute a fraternal benefit of $2,000 to the family of a member and $1,000 to the family of a non-member who is killed in the line of duty. The fraternal benefit is paid to the surviving families of Police Officers, Firefighters, or Corrections Officers in their established sections.
